An MBA graduate of Texas A&M University, West Orange, New Jersey resident Harvey Bell pursues a busy career as a financial advisor dedicated to civic and community endeavors. He supports a number of nonprofit organizations, including The Lawfare Project and The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and has spearheaded several endowment campaigns for other charitable groups. In 2023, he became a chaplain in the United States Chaplain Corps, in which capacity he provides support and guidance to people in times of crisis and need.
Committed to client satisfaction, Harvey Bell has spent nearly four decades focused on providing financial advice and developing investment strategies for the clients of major investment and banking firms. As a senior portfolio manager with the Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management Group, he leveraged his knowledge of investment vehicles to develop financial strategies. Mr. Bell also supervised several of Merrill Lynch’s New Jersey offices and served as part of the company’s leadership development team.
At present, Mr. Bell continues to focus on helping clients work toward their goals as a managing director and senior portfolio manager for Morgan Stanley in Short Hills. There, he leads The Bell Team and coordinates with his clients’ other professional advisors, such as attorneys and accountants, to develop individualized financial strategies using a range of investment products.
